• Use only a wooden or plastic cutting board to cut your food on. Rigid materials such as glass, earthenware, marble or stone, etc., are not recommended.
• Do not use your EVERCUT® knife on crockery, as it could damage it. Unlike knives with a fragile and inflexible ceramic blade, EVERCUT® knives are well suited to all food preparation tasks. The EVERCUT® blade is sturdy and flexible.
• Its sharp edge is very thin and extremely hard, and the following precautions should therefore be taken when using the knife:
– Avoid knocking the cutting edge of the blade so as not to chip the edge of the knife
– Avoid contact with bones and frozen foods
– Never attempt to sharpen the blade of your EVERCUT® knife,
(whether with a sharpener, sharpening steel or stone) so as not to damage the knife edge.
Like all extremely hard materials, the cutting area can chip or crack slightly depending on how it is used.
These phenomena are not detrimental to your EVERCUT® knife working properly.
